This year’s tree ornament, pictured above, is the 27th one in Warrensburgh Beautification’s series, and was handcrafted by local artisan Michael Wescott. Wescott, owner of Creativity Uncorked, used aluminum and copper, and came up with a design that pays tribute to the rugged landscape and winter sports that are iconic elements of the region.
2015 is also the 27th year that Warrensburgh Beautification is selling Adirondack balsam wreaths. The wreaths are guaranteed fresh, full, and fragrant, and are decorated with native pinecones and a handcrafted red velvet bow. You can choose from either a 12- or 16-inch frame.
The ornaments cost $4 each, and the wreaths are $12.50 for the 12-inch and $15 for the 16-inch option. Orders for both items can be placed by calling Teresa Whalen at 466-5497 or contacting her
