1. Festive Foliage and Feathers

Bring the kids to the Chapman Museum’s November family program on Saturday! The festivities include stories, colorful crafts, and a game. Space is limited, so it’s recommended that you call the museum at 518-793-2826 to make a reservation.
2. Benefit Dinner & Dance in Honor of Matt Congdon
Saturday, November 21
This fun evening will include a basket raffle, a 50/50, great food, door prizes, and live Irish music by Triskele! Proceeds will help support Matt Congdon, a man who has done so much for the youth of our area.
Saturday, November 21
In this special cabaret performance at Fort Salem Theater, Keri Alonzo will take the audience back to an era where every club hired a band and every band had a “girl singer.” Doors open early for dessert and coffee, which are both included in the price of admission.
4. New York State Volleyball Tournament
Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22
The 2015 NYSPHSAA Girls Volleyball Championship Tournament will be held this weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Saturday will feature pool play semifinals, and the finals in each of the five classes will be played on Sunday.
Sunday, November 22
The annual Post Star Holiday Parade will take place on Sunday, and this year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” The parade will step off from Carriage Traders and proceed north on Route 9 through the village of South Glens Falls.
