You have two chances to cheer on our city’s professional hockey team this weekend! The Adirondack Thunder will take on the Reading Royals on both Friday and Saturday evenings at the Civic Center.
2. Special Olympics Capital District Regional Winter Games

Head to West Mountain to root for some amazing athletes competing in the Regional Winter Games on Saturday! Events include snowshoe, nordic skiing, alpine skiing, and snowboarding.
3. Adirondack Brewery Barrel Festival

Lake George’s Adirondack Brewery will be hosting its 5th Annual Barrel Festival on Saturday afternoon! The brewery will be tapping its own, one-of-a-kind, barrel brewed ales, as well as rare barrel brewed ales from guest Northeast micro-breweries.

Bring the kids to the Charles R. Wood Theater on Sunday for a showing of the movie 101 Dalmatians. Little ones will love the excitement and adventure of the film!

The Chapman Museum will be hosting its January Family Program on Sunday, and this month’s featured topic is Snowflake Bentley. Wilson Bentley was a 19th century Vermont photographer who dedicated his life to photographing the uniqueness of snowflakes. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
