Glens Falls is hosting the ultimate holiday celebration this weekend with a number of exciting events and activities to check out including Santa, live reindeer, horse and wagon rides, musical performances, and kids activities.

Hometown Holiday Concert at The Hyde
Saturday, December 2
You can see the Glens Falls Symphony Children’s Chorus and SUNY Adirondack’s “The Mountainaires” put on a special holiday concert followed by a hot chocolate social at The Hyde. Free admission!
Hometown Holidays at The World Awareness Children’s Museum
Friday, December 1
Warm up with hot chocolate, try out cookie decorations, and enjoy arts and crafts for kids ages three to eight. This event is free, but donations to The World Awareness Children’s Museum are always welcome.
Festival of Trees
North Country Festival of Trees

See beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, stockings, gingerbread houses, and more from local artists at The Queensbury Hotel.

Be among the first to see the Festival of Trees at this special Holiday Luncheon at The Queensbury Hotel. Tickets are $18 per person and include a keepsake and a chance to win a handcrafted holiday wreath.
Saturday, December 2
Kids can enjoy the morning with Santa and get a private viewing of the Festival and Children’s Wonderland before it’s open to the public. The $13 ticket includes a full breakfast, a holiday keepsake, and of course the opportunity to meet Santa.

This event is the chance for young ladies and gentlemen to get dressed up and enjoy holiday music, dancing, punch, and cookies. Tickets are $13 per person.

Nearby Hudson Falls is having its own holiday celebration with Christmas carolers, a tree lighting, a parade, Christmas crafts, cookies, face painting, and more.
Annual Christmas in Warrensburg

Warrensburg, just under half an hour from Glens Falls, is having a massive Christmas event. Some of the festivities going on include: a Christmas bazaar, a pancake breakfast, pet photos with Santa, a cookie walk, a mini-festival of trees and craft fair, a toyland featuring Santa, a living nativity, an indoor holiday market, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and much more.

Fifteen different artists throughout Washington County are opening up their studios for a celebration of the season. Come out for a unique shopping experience, music, refreshments, and a door prize.
Reindeer Run & Reindeer Run, Jr.

The Adirondack Runners are hosting their annual Reindeer Run and Reindeer Run, Jr. Adults will run a four-mile course and kids a one-mile course. You can still register – the cost is $18 for members, $22 for non-members in advance, and $25 for non-members the day of the event. The run is taking place at SUNY Adirondack.

The Adirondack Thunder will be taking on the Worcester Railers at the Cool Insuring Arena. Fidelis Care is sponsoring Friday home games and is offering a “Kids Free Fridays” promotion. All kids 14 and under can get in for free with the purchase of an adult ticket at the box office.
Adirondack Thunder VS Brampton Beast

See the Adirondack Thunder take on the Brampton Beast. This is Teddy Bear Toss Night – come throw your teddy bears to support the Salvation Army. Bears will be sold in the main lobby, or you can bring your own from home.
