If you live in Glens Falls and have a child in kindergarten through eighth grade you’ll definitely want to get them in on this cool contest! It’s happening at the World Awareness Children’s Museum. Find out the details and then get ready to watch your kid create a masterpiece.
The Young Artists Competition’s theme this year is “Water, Water Everywhere.” Here are the submission guidelines:
Entrants must be a resident of Glens Falls and in kindergarten through eighth grade.
There is a limit of one piece per entrant.
There is a $5 submission fee to be paid in cash with the submitted artwork.
The submission must be two-dimensional artwork and can’t be larger than 16 x 20 inches.
The work must not be framed or mounted. Complete, artistic, colorful works are preferred (pencil, crayon, pastel, watercolor, etc.).
A short note about the entrant’s art is encouraged – please paperclip this to the corresponding artwork.
The artwork must be received by November 16th. Please submit the art to World Awareness Children’s Museum, 89 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801 or to education@worldchildrensmuseum.org.
The winners will have their art reproduced on mugs, postcards, magnets, and more. Any artwork submitted to this competition will become the property of the museum and cannot be returned. All rights are assigned to the World Awareness Children’s Museum for use, distribution, or reproduction in the best interest of the museum.
