The inaugural Adirondack Thunder Summer Hockey Camp takes place Monday, August 26th through Friday, August 30th and is open to kids ages 8 to 12. The camp includes three sessions of ice time per day with skating, shooting, stick-handling training, controlled scrimmages, and more. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Thunder coaches Alex Loh and Pet Dineed will head up the camp. Guest instructors will include former NHL players Claude Loiselle and Joe Paterson, and AHL Hall of Famer Glenn Merkosky; more guest instructors are expected to be announced.
The cost for the camp is $295. If your child isn’t within the specified age range but would like to a part of the experience you can reach out to Jeff Mead at 518.798.0366, extension 113, or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Other questions should be directed to 518.480.3355, or you can stop by the Adirondack Thunder office at the arena.
“It is obvious to see the local love for hockey around the region starts at a young age, and our goal is to allow that passion to develop year-round and on a larger scale,” Loh said in a statement.
