The World Awareness Children’s Museum is holding three paint & sip workshops this July, each with a different theme and all geared towards adults and children alike. Art subjects will tie in with current exhibits at the museum, such as Molas textiles from Central America and “Mission: Earth.”
- Wednesday July 17, 1:30 pm to 3 pm: “Sun and Moon”
- Monday July 22, 10:30 am to 12 pm: “Sunflower”
- Wednesday July 31, 1:30 pm to 3 pm: “Molas”
The museum encourages attendees to call ahead and reserve a spot ahead of time. One parent and one child can attend together for $20. If you’d like to bring the whole family along, additional tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Members of the museum will be charged half-price.
While you’re there, don’t forget to check out some of the museum’s exhibits. The World Awareness Children’s Museum highlights children’s art from 80 countries and teaches kids about cultures using hands-on exhibits and crafts.
