WACM Sells Disney Raffle Tickets
The World Awareness Children’s Museum invites parents to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win six one-day Park Hopper Passes+ to Walt Disney World. The raffle ends on Monday, January 5, 2021 and you can purchase a raffle ticket for $25 here.
Glens Falls Farmers Market Still Going Strong
You can still visit the Glens Falls Farmers Market every Saturday from 9am to 12pm indoors at Cool Insuring Arena through April 24, 2021; then it will move back outdoors to the South Street Pavilion. Check out their list of vendors (the asterisk indicates the winter market vendors) and plan to stop this weekend.
Glens Falls Nation Fund Raises Major Dough
The GF Nation Fund has raised $45,000 in one month to help fund the Glens Falls City School District’s backpack program, as reported by The Post Star. School officials indicated they were in significant need of funding for the program, and GF Nation Fund members stepped up to the plate with phone calls to raise the money.
