Two Festivals Are Slated for This Summer in Lake George
Two festivals have been announced for Lake George this summer! Both will take place in Charles R. Wood Park.
The Lake George Art, Craft, Food & Music Festival is slated for July 30 to August 1 and guests can expect high quality arts and crafts, food trucks, and live music. And, the Lake George BBQ Festival is scheduled for August 13 to 15 and will include barbecue food vendors, craft beers, and live entertainment.
Enjoy a Captivating Classical Music Performance From Home
The Glens Falls Symphony recently performed together at the Park Theater – COVID-style, of course. The tantalizing performance will start streaming on February 28. You don’t have to get dressed up fancy for this symphony event, but you can if you want to!
The video will be available through March 28, and you can sign up for a free subscription to their 2020/2021 season of virtual concerts at their website.
Drive-Thru Food Pantry Extended

American Eagle Outfitters Is Coming to Lake George
The clothing store is adding a new location at The Outlets at Lake George near Adidas, expected to open sometime this summer.
In the meantime, the Outlets are open with individual store hours varying. You can check out a variety of major brands like Coach, Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, and Old Navy.
Public Input Welcome on Identifying Vacant Buildings
There is a new vacant building registration law now in effect, and Code Enforcement officer Kris W. Vanderzee told The Chronicle that the public is welcome to submit complaints or bring attention to a possibly vacant building in Glens Falls.
In fact, the department is short staffed, and would very much appreciate the assistance. When a building is brought to their attention, they investigate to see if it meets the appropriate criteria and then take it from there.
