The Shirt Factory’s Thursday evening Food Truck Corral will return on May 20 and continue through mid-September. We can expect more global cuisine to be added to the mix this year – follow them on Facebook to keep updated on vendors as they’re announced!

WACM Gets Significant Grant, Will Fund Educational Programming
The World Awareness Children’s Museum recently received a $2,000 Holiday Match Grant from Stewart’s Shops. The money will go towards their partnership with LOOK Media Resources (LMR) to produce and air free educational programming for kids and families on LMR’s channels.
The program will be called “Worldwide Explorers” and will feature content related to different countries and cultures, showcase art and artifacts from WACM’s collections, and much more.
Episodes will air as early as this summer, and will be online through WACM’s website as well.
Can You Help Out the Adirondack Theatre Festival?
The Adirondack Theatre Festival is looking for apartments to rent in the Glens Falls area during June, July, and August of this year to house actors and stage crew. If you have availability, please email renec49@yahoo.com.
Plans Announced for South High Marathon Dance
The South High Marathon Dance, which for the past four decades and counting has been held at the South Glens Falls High School gymnasium, recently announced their COVID-adjusted plans for this year’s fundraiser: the event will now take place on April 30 at Great Escape.

Looking Ahead to Summer: More Chances to Get on a Tiki Tour
The Lake George Planning Board approved a second floating bar/boat for Tiki Tours in Lake George. This new boat will be the same make and model as the first and will hold up to 16 passengers, although they plan to run with 12 or fewer. Not surprisingly, tiki tours proved ultra popular during the pandemic and they’re adjusting accordingly to the increased demand.
Looking Ahead to the Holidays: A New Drive-Thru Holiday Event
The Washington County Fairgrounds in Greenwich has announced a drive-through holiday light display that will take place this Thanksgiving. Stay tuned for more info on that as it becomes available!
