Now & Then: It’s not just a great movie from 1995, it’s the name of the new exhibit at The Chapman that opens on Saturday, and it showcases photos of Glens Falls and Queensbury. Come find out “what came before.”
A New Wine Tasting Location
Adirondack Winery has had tastings at their Lake George and Bolton Landing locations for years, but for the first time ever, you can experience a tasting at their Queensbury production facility. They’re opening up their third location to tastings this Saturday.

The Farmers Market Moves Outdoors
The Glens Falls Farmers Market transitions to their outside space at the South Street pavilion on May 1. They’ll be there each Saturday through October from 8am to 12pm. View their vendor list to plan ahead.
The Drive-In Reopens
The Glen Drive-In Theater in Queensbury reopens tomorrow, April 30. Screen One will play Mortal Kombat and Nobody, and Screen Two will show Tom & Jerry and Godzilla VS Kong.
The Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor Opens for the Season
After not opening at all in 2020, it’s wonderful to report that The Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor will reopen to the public this Saturday. Reservations are required. You can purchase one-day tickets or season passes on their website.
Park President Rebecca Wood said in a statement that they are “laser-focused on delivering a safe and thrilling experience.”
