Save the Date for the International Cuisine Festival
The annual International Cuisine Festival brought to us by the World Awareness Children’s Museum is scheduled to take place at the Lake George Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park on June 13. It’s normally held indoors (as pictured above), so this will be a fun switch up.
You can try foods from around the world in a beautiful outdoor setting, and proceeds go towards important museum projects, including those for community children and families.
Bike Rental Program Expands to the North Country
The first 20 CDPHP Cycle! bikes have been set up around Warren County in Glens Falls, Lake George, and Queensbury. The bike rental program has been successful in Albany, Schenectady, and Troy, and more recently Saratoga Springs. With the Warren County Bikeway and Glens Falls Feeder Canal Trail up here in the North Country, cyclists who need bikes can certainly make use of this new option!
Rentals can be paid for via a credit card or mobile app, there are different pricing options such an hourly rate, and you can return the bike to any CDPHP Cycle! station; or, it can be locked to any fixed, public object that doesn’t block any public right of way. You can find out more at cdphpcycle.com.
