New Public Art Pieces, a Restaurant Update, A New Theater Space & More
Have You Seen These Painted Electrical Boxes Around the City?

If you’ve noticed Glens Falls looking a little more artistic these days, that’s because the Arts District of Glens Falls has completed the most visible piece of the Arts Trail so far: seven elegantly painted electric boxes. A call went out to artists in September and the boxes were completed by Halloween.
“This is only the beginning,” spokesperson Chad Rabinovitz, owner of The Candy Space and former artistic director of the Adirondack Theatre Festival, said in a statement. “We have major plans for public art, from large-scale murals on buildings to statement sculptures. You won’t be able to come to Glens Falls without knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is a place that loves the arts.”
The piece on the left can be found on the corner of Ridge and Maple and was created by Rodney Allen Bentley; the painting on the right is the work of Shelley Fair and can be found on Warren Street.
Glens Falls Farmers Market Moves Indoors This Weekend
You can now find the Glens Falls Farmers Market inside Aviation Mall. Their new hours are Saturdays from 9am to 1pm in the food court, so make sure to stop by for fresh bagels from Alchemy Bagel Cafe, award-winning jellies and salsa from Blue Boot Farm, gourmet chocolate from Saratoga Chocolate Company, and more local goodies.
