Fantastic Food & Drink Events
through March 11
Tomorrow and Saturday are your last chances to get in on Glens Falls Restaurant Week deals. This might be an excellent time to try out a restaurant you’ve never been to, like Park & Elm or Flight Wine Bar & Restaurant, pictured above (yes, those two dishes are on the Restaurant Week menu!).

The Slyboro Ciderhouse at Hicks Orchard continues with their monthly Mingle nights, and March’s theme is A Night in Buenos Aires. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and prohibition-style cocktails.
March 11 & 12
Maple Weekends are starting, and we’ve got plenty in the Glens Falls and Washington County areas participating. Mapleland Farm in Salem is offering free admission for guided or self-guided tours, and a pancake breakfast at $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
Terrific Tribute Bands
AC/DC tribute band Back in Black is back at The Strand Theater. Tickets are $25 for balcony, and $35 for lower level.
Billy Joel tribute band Stormfront is a six-piece group that will have you singing the big hits. General admission is $25 at this show, also at The Strand.
Classic Glens Falls Hockey Games
The Thunder faces off against the Lions on Saturday evening.
Come to the Cool Insuring Arena to cheer the Thunder on once again!
For the Kids
It’s Free Second Sunday at the World Awareness Children’s Museum, so come out of the cold with the little ones to enjoy all the interactive displays at no charge.
