River of Dreams at the Fort Salem Theater

Southern Adirondack Homesteading Festival
May 19 – 21
This festival takes place at the Washington County Fairgrounds all weekend long, and also includes self-guided tours throughout Washington County. Come out to learn about beekeeping, mushroom farming, soap making, cheese making, and more. There will be a barbecue on Saturday night.
Opening Weekend at Great Escape
May 20 & 21
One of the region’s most famed attractions, Great Escape, opens for the season this Saturday. They have a new ride this year, the high-flying Adirondack Outlaw. (Hurricane Harbor Waterpark opens for the season on May 27).

Pet Fest returns to Glens Falls City Park, with the festivities kicking off with a Dogs Got Talent Contest. Stick around for a Puppy Parade, a Dogs Day Q&A, and plenty of vendors and fun.

The annual Glens Falls Cleanup Day is scheduled for this Sunday, with volunteers meeting in the parking lot outside of MinkyMink. Rubber gloves, trash bags, and more supplies will be provided.
33rd Annual International Cuisine Dinner & Auction
May 21
This annual fundraiser for the World Awareness Children’s Museum takes place at The Queensbury Hotel. Come out for incredible international foods, a live auction, a silent auction, and a raffle. This is the museum’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
