It’s Gonna Be Wild – Adirondack Butoh Dance Festival Comes to Glens Falls on June 28
Join us outdoors at the beautiful Quarry House Retreat in Glens Falls, NY, for the inaugural It’s Gonna Be Wild Adirondack Butoh Dance Festival — a bold, one-of-a-kind event showcasing riveting performances by Butoh dancers from Montreal, NYC, Connecticut, and the Capital Region.
Featured artists include Paula Jeanine Bennett (NYC), Spy&DAny - Speranza Spir & Denis LaFond, and Kevin Segal (Montreal), Deborah Butler (Connecticut), and Katherine Adamenko (Queensbury, NY via NYC).
Curated and hosted by veteran Butoh dancer and performance artist Katherine Adamenko, this festival is presented by the House of Ladypants, a new center for experimental performance and creative collaboration in the Capital Region.
This festival is an offshoot of the global Endlessly Performing Art project, evolving from a pandemic-era virtual performance series into vibrant live events worldwide.
