Nearby Faraway: A New Georgia O'Keefe Musical

Save the date for Nearby Faraway, a brand new Georgia O'Keefe musical that will premiere at the Carriage House Theater at Fort William Henry July 22 to 24 and 29 to 31. The performance will include music by local composer Catherine Reid and book and lyrics by Neal Herr. On the Centennial  of her breakthrough summers in lake George, this dramatic tour-de-force will be the centerpiece of what Mayor Robert Blais calls an "O'Keefe-Fest," with related activities by art and historical groups celebrating the life and art of "America's Favorite Painter."
