The Annual Adirondack Balloon Festival is one of the most popular events of the fall. As thousands flock to the Warren County Airport, ensure that you get a great parking space with the premium parking, new to the 2012 festival.
The September balloon festival is the perfect event for leaf-peepers, and draws huge crowds each year. Attendees have traditionally parked for free, in general parking on the airfield. At the 2012 Adirondack Balloon Festival, free general parking will still be available, but there will also be a special, paid preferred parking area close to the airport terminal.
Admission to the festival is free, so if you don’t want to spend money, you can just park on the airfield as in past years. But, if you’re a dedicated festival-goer who gets up at at the crack of dawn to view the 5am launch, preferred parking is something you might want to look into.
Think of how much easier it will be to get out of your warm car in the early morning if you don’t have far to walk!
2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. This new preferred parking is just part of the many special things that will be happening at this year’s festival. Get more details on the Adirondack Balloon Festival.
