Not that kind of shark! South Glens Falls native Robert Peck has landed a spot on tonight’s episode of Shark Tank. He has created a product to help beach goers feel safer while enjoying the water.

Peck, who first started his business in 2007 has moved to Florida to completely invest himself in his latest idea, the AquaVault.
The Aquavault is a product that will help people feel more relaxed while swimming in the ocean. It’s simply a small safe that locks onto most beach furniture, that keeps valuables and other items secure while you’re away from your spot on the sand!
Currently, the Aquavault is partnered with a company that rents beach chairs and other furniture along a 40-block section of South Beach in Miami.
Peck told the Post Star that the idea came from a personal, unpleasant experience at the beach. While taking a swim in the ocean, someone stole his sunglasses and phone from his beach chair. He also learned that there are theft rings that make a living off stealing peoples belongings while they are in the water. Sounds like there’s a market for the product!
Make sure to tune into Shark Tank tonight at 9 pm on ABC to see how the ‘Sharks’ take to his beach invention!
