Stewart’s Shops is one local organization that truly understands the reason for the season. For the 29th year, the convenience store chain will be giving back to the community with its Holiday Match Program!
Through the Holiday Match Program, Stewart’s Shops doubles customer donations to local children’s charities in the communities where its stores are located. Last year was a record-breaking one for Holiday Match, and a whopping $1.5 million was given in support of 1,600 organizations! In total, the Holiday Match Program has donated more than $20 million since it was founded in 1986.
You have the opportunity to participate in the Holiday Match this year, and to knock last year’s record out of the park! Stewart’s Shops will be collecting donations in all 332 locations from Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day, and all customer contributions will be matched by the company.
“Stewart’s Shops matches all our customers’ donations dollar for dollar,” Stewart’s Foundation President Susan Dake said in a statement. “Together we extend the spirit of holiday giving by supporting organizations that help thousands of children year round.”
