This event is an awesome time for teens of all ages! Highlights include bowling, games, prizes, karaoke, dancing, an arcade, and more. The $8 fee covers everything, plus shoes and unlimited bowling!
Saturday, March 19
More than 60 local, regional, and national craft breweries and cideries will be at the Queensbury Hotel this Saturday for Glens Falls Brewfest! Admission includes beer and cider samples, a souvenir tasting glass, and food samples. Live music provided by Forthlin Road!
3. Owl Watch & Guided Bird Walk
Saturday, March 19
Grab your binoculars and join Friends of the IBA for a chance to see wintering hawks and owls in the heart of the Washington County Grasslands Important Bird Area! The trip will begin with a short trail walk with stops at two or three other areas with good raptor activity.
4. Adirondack Ballet Theater Presents: Peter and the Wolf
Saturday, March 19 & Sunday, March 20
As of the writing of this article, tickets are still available for all three of this weekend’s performances of Peter and the Wolf at the Charles R. Wood Theater! This ballet interpretation of the timeless children’s story follows young Peter’s adventures in the forest and his interactions with the animals that live there.
5. Shamrock Shuffle & The Leprechaun Leap
Sunday, March 20
Close out St. Patrick’s Week with a 5-mile run (or kids’ 7/8-mile fun run)! Race day registration is available for both races, and the starting line is at Glens Falls High School.
