The 2017 Glens Falls Brewfest is finally here on Saturday, April 1. And no, this is not a joke.
This beer, wine, and cider tasting event draws the best local, regional, and national breweries, wineries, and cideries for one epic day of tastings, excellent food samples, and live music.
The Brewfest will be on Saturday, April 1 from 4-8 p.m. at the Queensbury Hotel. We recommend booking a room if you don’t live walking distance!
Tickets are $40 and proceeds benefit the Adirondack Theatre Festival and the Feeder Canal Alliance. Your Brewfest ticket includes tastings, a souvenir tasting glass, live music, and free food samples.
Over 60 breweries, wineries, and cideries are expected at the Brewfest. For a full listing of participating brewers, check out the Glens Falls Brewfest event page.
Live music for the Brewfest will be provided by Forthlin Road, and we have it on good authority from food blogger Susan Garrett, who attended Brewfest last year, that Forthlin Road are an excellent band and may just inspire some impromptu dancing. Garrett’s experience last year will also be comforting to those worried about a large crowd. She said that the 2016 “beer sampling crowd was large, but flowed nicely throughout the seven rooms where brewers were set up to pour your favorite craft beers and ciders.”
Free food samples will also be available thanks to the SUNY Adirondack Culinary Arts students, 190 Grille + Cinema, Coopers Cave Ale Company, and Carl R’s.
