Have you ever wanted to rappel down the side of one of downtown Glens Falls’ iconic buildings? Why not do it for a good cause?
Join Tri-County United Way and Over the Edge at the Queensbury Hotel this June to go over the edge and raise money to support Tri-County United Way’s efforts to inspire hope, improve lives, and create opportunities in the Tri-County Region.
The edge of The Q.
Over the Edge is a unique fundraising event for the Tri-County United Way. Participants raise money to help the Tri-County United Way support local charities and non-profit agencies in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga counties before rappelling down the side of an iconic building in downtown Glens Falls.
About Over the Edge at the Q
When you register online, there is an $85 non-refundable registration fee and you can immediately customize your online fundraising platform. Once you raise $1,000 your rappel spot is guaranteed! (You may also collect cash and check donations with checks payable to Tri County United Way.)
Team Fundraising: Toss Your Boss
If your team raises a minimum of $2,000 you can toss your boss, teacher, coach or victim group member of your choice over the edge of The Q. All in good fun, of course!
Can Anyone Rappel?
To rappel you must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds, raise the minimum $1,000 and have a parent/guardian onsite to sign the waiver if you are under 18.
If you don’t have any experience rappelling, no problem! No experience is necessary. There will be day-of training and all safety equipment will be provided.
