Autism Awareness Day at Great Escape

If your kids have been begging you to go to Great Escape lately this Saturday would be an excellent time to visit. They’re hosting Autism Day, when a portion of each ticket sale will benefit the Autism Society. Sensory maps of the park will be distributed, and there will be relief areas for guests to rejuvenate. Tickets are $29.25.

Touch a Truck events are always popular with kids! This is a great opportunity for children to get up close and personal with trucks, getting to sit in the driver’s seat and check out fire trucks, construction trucks, and more. Tickets are just $3 per person, or $10 for a group of four, and the event is happening at the Queensbury Elementary School parking lot.

The Open Studios Tour of Washington County is featuring a record-breaking 20 artists this year working with several different types of mediums like painting, photography, clay arts, and sculpture. Check out work by our regional artists, and if you feel so inclined, purchase a piece or two and support our local art community.
A Barn Full of Art Exhibit & Reception

The Whiting Studio Gallery in Argyle is hosting A Barn Full of Art Exhibit where you can see art from four regional artists from 10am to 6pm, Friday through Sunday. There will be a reception on Friday evening with light refreshments.
