Fantastic news! For every dollar donated to The Hyde through the end of June, an anonymous regional benefactor has stated that they will be matching the donation up to $100,000.
Bringing Art to the Community
A first-time donor to the Hyde Collection, they say the gift is inspired by the exhibitions and programs being offered. “This is a tremendous vote of confidence in our work at The Hyde,” said David Howson, chair of the Museum’s board of trustees, in a statement. Added Anne Saile, interim director of The Hyde Collection, “The Museum is honored to receive this generous gift. The donor’s passion for our community is such that it inspires philanthropy in others and we’re deeply grateful for this commitment to the Museum.”
