1. Summer Luncheon with The Hyde — August 6th
Join the Hyde this Monday at 11:30a.m. for their annual summer luncheon. Located right on the serene shores of Lake George at The Lake George Club, this luncheon celebrates the life of Tucky Beeman, a committed member and supporter of the Hyde.

2. Plein Air: Perception and Passion — August 9th
Hear about the life, works, and travels of Ann Larsen, renowned plein air artist, during her discussion on August 9 at the Hyde! In this talk, Larsen will discuss the influence between art, travel, and life. Admission is $5 for members and $8 for nonmembers.
3. Annual Plein Air Festival – August 9th through August 12th
The fan-favorite Plein Air Festival in downtown Glens Falls is back! From Thursday through Sunday, 16 exceptional artists will scatter across the Glens Falls area to paint and compete for Best of Show and other awards in a variety of categories. The artists will be judged by award-winning plein air artist, Ann Larsen. This festival invites community members to interact with the artists, and even submit their own artwork! All art will be on display throughout the day on Sunday, with awards given out at 3pm.
4. Hyde Community Day – August 12th
The Hyde Collection is opening up to the community this Sunday, August 12th. Hyde Community Day promises to be filled with family-friendly activities, such as a Family Art Battle, an Art Scavenger Hunt, Family Gallery Tours, and more. This event is free and open to the public from noon to 5pm.

5. Beyond the Practice: Interactive Yoga + Art Experience — August 16th
Experience art through movement with the Hyde’s event “Beyond the Practice.” Examine the works and life of Jane Peterson and follow along with the meditative movements of Kate Patterson, local yoga instructor and artist. Admission is $15 for members and $18 for non-members. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early!
