If you’re experiencing a sense of déjà vu today, you’re not the only one. Another snow storm has arrived in the North Country, and Glens Falls Mayor Daniel Hall has just announced that a Snow Emergency will begin in the city at 5:00pm on Tuesday, January 29.

According to the latest report, the Snow Emergency will start at 5:00pm tonight and run through 8:00am on the morning of Wednesday, January 30. During this time frame, motorists are prohibited from parking on Glens Falls city streets in order to allow plow crews to clear away the snow.
In addition, when a Snow Emergency is in effect, vehicle travel is discouraged. If you must head out on the roads, then it’s highly recommended you carry emergency supplies in your car, including blankets, water, and food. You should also prepare for the cold weather by dressing in protective clothing and layers.
