The Adirondack Theatre Festival knows kids deserve to have a memorable experience at the theater too! The PB&J Cafe: A Dinner Theatre for Kids returns soon, and will see another run in July. Read on to see the dates and which show they’re putting on this year.
This year’s PB&J Cafe production is Alice in Wonderland, with performances happening from June 25th to the 28th, and July 16th to the 20th. There are evening shows and matinees, and they’re all happening at the Charles R. Wood Theater.
The children get to order a meal from the actors, take part in a pre-show activity, dine during the live performance, and come home with autographs from their favorite performers.
The PB&J Cafe is the brainchild of Chad Rabinovitz, the Producing Artistic Director of ATF. This is the fifth year of the program, which has exposed thousands of children to the wonderful world of theater; the PB&J Cafe has introduced many kids to theater for the first time.
As with other ATF productions, PB&J Cafe tends to sell out, so don’t wait to get your tickets! They’re $18 and are available at the Wood Theater Box Office, online at ATFFestival.org, or by calling 518.480.4878.
