Field of Flags: Veterans Appreciation Week at Fort William Henry

Head up to Lake George this weekend to see Fort William Henry‘s west lawn covered in about 7,100 flags, each honoring a veteran or active service member. There will also be a musket salute on Monday, November 11.
D-Day 75th Anniversary Salute to Veterans Concert

Join The Lake George Community Band as they honor the 75th anniversary of D-Day with a special concert at the Glens Falls High School auditorium.
Wild Adriatic Presents: The Summit Music Festival

13th Annual Lake George Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

Embrace this weekend’s cold snap by taking a chilly dip in Lake George in support of Special Olympics NY. Participants will be raising thousands of dollars for the cause, and spectators are encouraged to come watch the event for free.
Fall Craft Fair & Holiday Festival

Attend the BPOE #2223 Elks Auxiliary’s annual Fall Craft Fair and Holiday Festival in Greenwich. Shop handmade items, such as soap, knitwear, and holiday decor, all in support of the Elks’ annual Christmas Basket Fund for families in need in Greenwich, Cambridge, Schuylerville, Argyle, and Salem. The Elks Lodge will also be serving up baked goods, sandwiches, and chili for attendees.
Hubbard Hall Community Dance Series: Barn Dance

What better way to celebrate fall than with a traditional barn dance? Hubbard Hall will be hosting a night of live music, square dancing, contra dances, circle dances, and great food at their Freight Depot Theater. No dance experience is required, but be sure to bring a locally-sourced dish to share at their potluck, which will follow the dancing.
