In conjunction with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, North Country Ministry, and the Tri-County United Way, the Salvation Army will host a drive-thru food pantry at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Warrensburg on Friday, May 22, 2020.
What You Need to Know About the Food Pantry
The Salvation Army of Glens Falls’ contactless drive-thru food pantry will be open to anyone in need, and it will be held on May 22 starting at 11:00am. According to the announcement, the food pantry will remain open while supplies last, and the event is first-come, first-served.
This is the third local drive-thru food pantry hosted by the Salvation Army, and the goal is to ensure everyone has access to necessary supplemental food during this challenging time. Volunteers will follow CDC guidelines, wear appropriate masks and gloves, and practice social distancing while safely distributing food and products.
