We have a few updates on what to expect with Winterfest in Lake George, suggestions for winter activities and upcoming events in the meantime, and there’s some local news to brush up on.
Some Lake George Winterfest Updates
More information is rolling out all the time for Lake George Winterfest, the COVID-friendly replacement of the Lake George Winter Carnival for 2021.
The event will take place each weekend in February and will include socially-distanced outdoor activities like cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and fat tire biking, along with local dining and lodging specials, horse-drawn carriage rides, and hot cocoa stations. There will be a wristband for participants to get in on the fun. Click through to the event website for more details!
Winter fun in the meantime: Crandall Park is frozen over and open for ice skating! (Note: There are no rentals.) There’s also a sledding hill at the park, pictured above. And, if you’re looking to cross-country ski or snowshoe, The Inside Edge Ski & Bike Shop offers rentals and they’re close to the trails at Cole’s Woods.
