A full list of concerts and events is available on the venue’s website, and tickets are available now. Check Out Two Major Updates From The Shirt Factory This Week
In addition to the Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral, there are a few more things happening at The Shirt Factory. The business’ Facebook page recently shared some before and after photos of a new mural that’s available for viewing at The Shirt Factory annex in the Rock Hill Bakehouse & Cafe parking lot.
While you’re at The Shirt Factory this week, be sure to visit SensibiliTeas (Room 106) to see a framed original artwork from Jim Lawson, one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artists. This artwork is currently up for auction and was donated to benefit the local Abraham Wing PTA Playground Fund.
The piece can be viewed from today through Saturday, September 4, 11:00am-5:00pm, with bidding ending at 8:00pm on September 4. Learn more: https://abrahamwingpta.betterworld.org/auctions/original-teenaged-mutant-ninja-t
Glens Falls Wing Fest & Pet Fest Have Been Postponed
As noted in a press release from the Glens Falls Collaborative, two popular downtown Glens Falls events, Wing Fest (originally scheduled for October 16) and Pet Fest (originally scheduled for September 18), have unfortunately been postponed.
“With them normally being spring festivals, the committees had trouble securing vendors for a fall event,” said Glens Falls Collaborative President Robin Barkenhagen. “Also, with the high price of wings, we would have had trouble securing enough for that large of a crowd.”
While this announcement is disappointing, both events are expected to return next year, with Wing Fest happening in April 2022 and Pet Fest in May 2022 (exact dates TBD).
Radici Kitchen & Bar Announces Temporary Pause
On Tuesday, August 24, local Glens Falls restaurant Radici Kitchen & Bar announced on Facebook that they are temporarily closing for a few weeks to spend some time with their families and rest up. It’s been a busy and difficult year for restaurants, but Radici is planning to reopen on Thursday, September 16. Mark your calendar and stop by for a meal after their reopening!
