The Holiday Inn Resort in Lake George is bringing back their Harvest Bar this weekend and next with seasonal food and drink specials.

The inaugural BooTown by Day, GhoulTown by Night will take place in Fort Ann. This haunted attraction includes the family-friendly BooTown by Day, and GhoulTown for adults at night. BooTown and GhoulTown will take place each weekend through Halloween, and tickets are $12 for daytime fun and $25 for the nighttime event.

If you haven’t gone apple picking yet this season, check out Applefest happening at Billy Bob’s Orchard this Saturday and Sunday in Putnam Station (just under an hour from Glens Falls – enjoy the early foliage drive!). There will be hayrides, inflatable axe throwing, bluegrass music on Saturday, and more.

Dylan’s Birthday Bash Fundraiser

The Queensbury Hotel hosts this birthday celebration/fundraiser for Dylan McConnell, who is diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a debilitating neuro-muscular disorder. There will be live music, a cash bar, and raffles. Entry fee is $10.
$99 Pop-Up Show to Benefit Ukraine

LARAC is hosting a two-day benefit exhibit to help raise funds for relief efforts in Ukraine. All pieces in this exhibit will be priced at $99 – a true steal! Each artist is allowed to exhibit up to three pieces.

This food-filled fundraiser at the Historic Salem Courthouse helps raise funds for the nonprofit’s year-round programs and services. You can expect not just beer and bratwurst but flatbread pizza, pretzels with beer cheese, and wine.
Wild in the Trees: Music & Skate Festival
October 1 & 2
The first-ever music and skate festival in Lake George happens this weekend at the skate park in Charles R. Wood Park. All ticket sales benefit the Ronald McDonald House of the Capital Region, and the lineup includes Annie in the Water, Glass Pony, and more acts, plus food trucks and vendors. Tickets are $20.

Comedy After Dark: Joe Pontillo

Grab the babysitter and head out for the latest Comedy After Dark production at the Park Theater, this time with Joe Pontillo. Pontillo is best known for his comedy special Delete Your Account, but has performed on numerous platforms, at festivals, and more. Tickets are $22.
Bright Star at Fort Salem Theater

Fort Salem Theater presents Bright Star, a hit musical written by well-known comedian Steve Martin and reputable songwriter Edie Brickell. Catch the production at the Fort Salem Theater this weekend or next. Tickets start at $15.
Adirondacon Tabletop Gaming Convention
October 1 – 2
Adirondacon returns to the Charles R. Wood Theater for the fifth year of this tabletop gaming convention. There will be a large lending library with hundreds of games available to play and more fun going on. Ticket options are the entire weekend for $30, just Saturday $20, or just Sunday at $15.
