About the Event

Come out for the inaugural AdirondackChristkindlmarkt as a longtime Alpine tradition is brought to the Adirondacks. The German word "Christkindlmarkt" translates to Christmas Market in English. These markets originated in Germany centuries ago, and this heartwarming, family-friendly event is now being welcomed to Lake George.

You'll find quality, one-of-a-kind gifts as you shop nearly 30 artisan vendors under a heated tent in the Charles R. Wood Park. There will be holiday light displays, fire pits, kids activities, live music, entertainment, and more.

Food and beverages will be provided by Lake George Steamboat Company, including coffee, donuts, beer and 'Gluhwein', which is wine brewed with cinnamon and holiday spices that will warm you up in the cold weather. (Yum!) There will also be German food provided by Wursthaus III.

Crepes will be made on site by Dickinson's Delight. They will also offer macaroni and cheese, soups, pies, cakes, brownies and other baked goods.
