About this event
May the Pourth: Make Your Own Scratch Block Mold
Participants will have the opportunity to make their very own cast iron tile sand mold in this drop-in workshop!
- Drop in any time between 1 PM - 3 PM to make your scratch block. Hand off your mold to our team and watch our team pour hot metal into it that evening!
OR - Pre-register by visiting Salem Art Works website - then visit "All Workshops" to find "May The Pourth/Iron Pour."
Once the metal is cooled we will clean up the tile for you to take home. Pickup is coordinated via email with j.miner@salemartworks.org
Standard Scratchblock: 4”x4”
There is a 25% cancellation fee for all workshops and classes if requested with two weeks of prior notice. Deposits and payments are nonrefundable within two weeks of the scheduled date.
