posting the recipe we use for all our popular quiches………starting with a store-bought roll out crust. beat together 4 eggs, add 2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup shredded cheddar or swiss cheese, dash of nutmeg. place your filling choice (asparagus for this one, 6 stalks, cut into half-inch pieces) into the pie pan where you have placed the crust. pour filling over, sprinkle with s&p, swish with fork, bake in preheated oven 400 degrees for 20 minutes then lower oven to 350 for 30 minutes or til set. delicious!
