it has been months since i wrote a blog entry, but the sunny weather here in bolton has made the creative juices start to flow and i hope i can get something written that makes sense. at the cafe, business has picked up considerably in just the last week. on wednesday, the red cross has ordered 100 sandwiches for a workshop in the new armory. looking forward to seeing the new building. this weekend, memorial day, has people getting salads, desserts and hor doeuvres for picnics and house parties, and a shower at the cafe. the farmers’ market is a great venue for us to bring and sell our special salads, gazpacho, breads, cookies, savory tarts, and macaroni and cheese. each week, we try to change it up and come with different items. it’s a busy,happy place where kids, dogs, grandparents, bike-riders, musicians and yuppies can always find a goodie. or two. a best seller is actually our dog biscuits, toby treats
