The lush greenery of Crandall Park and the summer breeze serve as the backdrop for live music shows at the bandshell, courtesy of The Park Theater (which is the rain location).

Adirondack Theatre Festival
The Adirondack Theatre Festival at the Charles R. Wood Theater breathes life into new and innovative plays and musicals, showcasing incredible talent, some of whom go on to perform on Broadway and elsewhere.

Crandall Park Summer Pops
The Glens Falls Symphony performs the annual Summer Pops the day before the 4th of July, and fireworks follow the concert, but that's not all! There's an antique car show, kids activities, and food vendors to enjoy.

Adirondack 7 Mile Race to the Lakes
The annual Adirondack 7 Mile Race to the Lakes in June starts out at SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury and makes its way to Battlefield Park in Lake George. This is gorgeous route to run!
ADK 5K at Adirondack Pub & Brewery
The ADK 5K is hosted by Adirondack Pub & Brewery in Lake George in early to mid September, with the race beginning and ending at the brewery. Of course, runners get to enjoy a refreshing brew after the race!
Glens Falls Dragons Games
Cheer on the Glens Falls Dragons baseball team at East Field, where tickets are only $5 a pop, and $3 for kids 12 and under! The 2025 season starts on June 7 and runs through July 28.
Glens Falls FitFest
Jump start or enhance your fitness journey at Glens Falls FitFest in mid July, that takes place at Glens Falls City Park. You'll find live demonstrations, interactive booths and vendors, family-friendly activities, and professionals to chat with and learn from.
🍕🍷 Indulge Your Taste Buds: Fun for Foodies
Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral
Hosted weekly at The Shirt Factory, the Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral is so much more than food trucks and vendors. There's live music, kids activities like bounce houses and pony rides, plus the dozens of unique shops inside The Shirt Factory.
For 2025, the event runs on Thursdays from May 15 through September 11 (excluding July 3).
Take a Bite
Another weekly Glens Falls summer foodie event that takes place downtown, Take a Bite comprises restaurants selling samples of their dishes at a low price (between $1 and $5), and there's always live music going on as well.
The Take a Bite dates for 2025 are July 9, 16, and 23; and August 6, 13, and 20.
Adirondack Wine & Food Festival
The unofficial kickoff to summer in the region begins with the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival in Charles R. Wood Park in Lake George at the end of June. You can expect over 100 vendors selling the best wines, beers, ciders, and artisanal food New York State has to offer.
