Overview

Each summer in Glens Falls, the Adirondack Theatre Festival, our region's top professional not-for-profit summer theatre, presents a variety of new and contemporary musicals and plays.

Adirondack Theatre Festival 2024 Season

The Adirondack Theatre Festival will present four professional theatrical productions at the Charles R. Wood Theater in nearby Glens Falls. The 2024 season runs from June June 27 to August 7. The prestigious festival has developed new plays and musicals for Broadway and major national tours. 

About Adirondack Theatre Festival

Adirondack Theatre Festival aims to challenge, entertain, and nourish its audience through the development and production of new and contemporary musicals and plays. Professional artists from New York City and across the country take to the Wood Theater stage in downtown Glens Falls for an exciting season of productions each summer. The actors on stage, as well as the designers and directors, have worked regularly on and off-Broadway, on television, and in movies.

In addition to musicals and plays, ATF also operates the Adirondack Film Festival, an annual film festival in Glens Falls. The event features over 100 films across multiple screens at downtown Glens Falls venues.
