Nothing beats the taste of fresh strawberries in the summer. It’s so much fun to actually pick them yourself and come up with creative ways to eat them!
Last week, my sister Cory went strawberry picking at Horseman Farms in Schenectady NY. Being a foodie herself, she decided to make a bunch of different recipes with her pickings. They looked so delicious that I just had to share! Here are a few things she made:
- Strawberries Shortcake Cookies
- Strawberry Mojitos
- Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
- White Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Below are some pictures of her creations. If these don’t inspire you to go on a Strawberry Pickin’ Adventure, I don’t know what will!

Strawberry Shortcake Cookies – Little pieces of heaven.
Strawberry Rhubard Pie – Just like gram makes (maybe even better!)
Strawberry Mojitos – The perfect drink for those hot summer days. Trust me, this one’s a crowd pleaser!
White Chocolate Covered Strawberries – Perfectly riped strawberries dipped into a pool of melted white chocolate. Yes, please! I’ll take 5.
Okay people, so are you convinced to go strawberry picking yet? What are you
waiting for?! Check out Horsemans Farm or Indian Ladder Farms and don’t forget to send us pictures of your creative creations, we’d love to see them!
