Glens Falls Brewfest Is Back: Bigger, Bolder & Now a 3-Day Event

March 20 - 22, 2026

The Glens Falls Brewfest is back, and this year, it’s raising the bar in a whole new way! After more than a decade as one of the region’s most anticipated craft beer events, Glens Falls Brewfest Weekend is expanding into a 3-day celebration of craft beverages, community, and fun, taking over downtown Glens Falls from March 20-22, 2026.

Presented by the Feeder Canal Alliance, the 2026 Glens Falls Brewfest Weekend brings together regional brewers, live entertainment, local vendors, and great food, all while supporting an organization that plays a vital role in the region.

Whether you’re a longtime Brewfest fan or someone looking for a fun early spring weekend with friends, this refreshed format offers more ways than ever to sip, socialize, and explore downtown Glens Falls.

What Is Glens Falls Brewfest Weekend?

For 16 years, the Glens Falls Brewfest has been an iconic fundraising event celebrating the region’s craft beer scene while supporting the Feeder Canal Alliance. Since its founding in 2010, the event has donated more than $380,000 back into the community, helping fund trail improvements, programs, and initiatives that benefit residents and visitors alike.

Now, with support from Warren County and a growing interest in craft beverages of all kinds, the Brewfest is evolving. The result is a full weekend experience that not only celebrates beer, but also highlights the region’s broader craft beverage industry - breweries and beyond.

Why the Glens Falls Brewfest Looks Different This Year

The shift from a 1-day event to a 3-day festival wasn’t just about going bigger. It was about creating a more meaningful and entertaining experience for attendees, vendors, and downtown businesses.

By spreading events across the weekend, the Glens Falls Brewfest encourages visitors to stay overnight, dine locally, and explore the city, supporting far more than a single nonprofit. It also creates a more relaxed pace, giving people time to connect with brewers, enjoy various activities, and take part in multiple events.

Another welcome change? The timing. After being held in May last year, the Brewfest is moving to March, giving locals and visitors something exciting to look forward to before the busy summer season kicks off. No need to wait for warm weather to attend an awesome event!

Brewfest Main Event Returns to the Queensbury Hotel

The heart of the Glens Falls Brewfest Weekend takes place on Saturday, March 21, with the Brewfest Main Event at the Queensbury Hotel, a beloved downtown landmark and former home of the festival; last year the event was held at the Harding Mazzotti Arena.

New this year: The main event features two separate 3-hour tasting sessions, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. This split-session format offers more flexibility for attendees, and creates even more of a comfortable, personal experience with brewers and vendors.

During each session, guests can enjoy:

  • Craft beer tastings from regional breweries
  • Live entertainment
  • Local vendors
  • Food trucks
  • Cornhole

The historic setting, combined with the new session format, makes the Queensbury Hotel an ideal place to reconnect with the Brewfest’s roots, while enjoying a revamped, more engaging experience.

Supporting the Feeder Canal Alliance

At its core, the Glens Falls Brewfest Weekend is about giving back. The Feeder Canal is one of the region’s most valuable connectors, weaving through five municipalities and linking to both the Empire State Trail and the Warren County Bikeway. It serves as a recreational asset, a transportation corridor, and a place where history and nature come together.

The Feeder Canal Alliance acts as the steward of this important resource while also serving as the primary funding administrator for grants and donations. Through events like the Brewfest, the Alliance is able to provide year-round programming that benefits the entire community.

When you attend the Glens Falls Brewfest, you’re not just enjoying great beer and company - you’re directly supporting a local nonprofit that helps keep the region vibrant and connected. All proceeds benefit this organization!
