I live on Glen Lake and this launch is continually abused . It is not monitored, as it should be . People regularly launch motor boats, use it as a swimming area, kayak at night with no running lights and park in undesignated areas. Purely a dangerous situation. I have recently informed the Sheriffs department, to no avail. Boat cleanliness is not monitored at all for foreign aquatic invasive plants. This is a pristine, privately owned spring fed lake. Why the town of Queensbury would purchase this parcel and not monitor a situation that may clearly cause the town a great liability is beyond me. Some people have been caught and reprimanded by property owners, who discover them utilizing their property as a toilet! This is beyond the scope of what the intended use of this property was for and needs constant monitoring for the many who have no respect for the law and beauty of GLEN LAKE! I am tired of gently bringing the rules to the attention of these offenders who retort with crude language and gestures. FIGURE IT OUT!
