The Halfway Brook Trail in Queensbury, completed in December 2020, is open for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Check out the Halfway Brook Trail, a recreational trail that runs 1.5 miles from the intersection of Potter and Aviation Roads south to Peggy Ann Road across the Lower Halfway Brook Watershed. Parking is available at both trailheads on Potter Road and on Peggy Ann Road.
The trail is open from dawn to dusk. Hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and bicycling is allowed; motorized vehicles are not allowed. Dogs must be leashed and their waste taken away.
This trial traverses the Glens Falls Watershed; public use is restricted to the trail. Public access beyond the trail is prohibited, and offenders of this policy will be subject to prosecution and fines.
