About this event

The LGLC is again partnering with Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center to offer a new series of hikes led by Up Yonda’s naturalists.

Join a Naturalist on a hike to Walnut Ridge from the Godwin Preserve. Along the way we’ll  observe how the local trees are changing before winter, and learn some Adirondack tree identification. This 3 mile hike will begin at the Godwin Preserve and continue to Pole Hill Pond Preserve’s Walnut Ridge for rewarding views of Lake George to the southeast and Pole Hill Pond below.

  • Total hike length (out and back) is 3 miles.
  • This trail is considered moderately challenging.

Register with the Lake George Land Conservancy at least 24 hours in advance at https://lglc.org/discovery-series/
