Experience the best of local agriculture during the Hartford Farm Tour in Hartford, New York. This free, family-friendly event invites visitors to spend the day exploring a variety of local farms, each offering a unique glimpse into farm life. Meet the farmers, learn how local products are grown and made, and enjoy samples of fresh foods produced right on the farm.
Along the way, families can meet farm animals, see agricultural operations up close, and enjoy a relaxing day in the countryside. It’s a great opportunity to connect with the people and places that make the region’s agricultural community so special.
Be sure to pick up a Farm Tour Passport at your first stop. Visitors who collect a stamp from every participating farm will be entered into a drawing to win a basket filled with delicious and locally produced goodies.
Here are the farms scheduled so far:
Burchdale Farm located 3155 County Route 43, Fort Ann, NY 12827
At this family-owned and operated dairy farm guests can expect to meet the friendly dairy cows and meet the Washington County Dairy Princess.
Du Trieux Farm located 65 Gibbs Road, Hartford, NY 12832
This family-owned and operated farm raises pasture-raised chicken and grass-fed lamb and also operates a farmstay bed-and-breakfast on the property.
Grazin' Acres located 49 Wolfe Lane, Salem, NY 12865
This family‑owned and operated farm focuses on sustainable, pasture‑based agriculture and offers visitors a chance to learn about responsible farming practices. The family raises grass‑fed and grass‑finished beef and lamb, pasture‑raised pork and chicken, and produces fresh vegetables using natural methods that prioritize animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
Holley Hill Farms located 3188 County Route 32, Hartford, NY 12832
This family-owned and operated farm produced maple syrup, honey, fresh vegetables, and eggs. Meet the animals, explore the farm stand, and enjoy products made right on the farm.
Lindgrove Farm Stand located 266 Washburn Hill Road, Granville, NY 12832
Visitors can enjoy a variety of fresh, locally produced foods straight from the farm and meet the people who made the farm to table experience possible. It’s a great place to experience the flavors of the region and support local agriculture.
Sugar Hill Ranch located 14 Russell Lane, Argyle, NY 12809
At this family-owned ranch, visitors can meet the horses, learn about horse care, and explore the scenic grounds. It’s a wonderful stop for families to connect with animals and enjoy the peaceful countryside setting.
