About this event

Bring your family & friends to discover life the way it used to be during this special 2-day event featuring reenactments, period-typical everyday life, demonstrations, hands-on exhibits & more focused on this beautiful area’s unique history. Come to Living History Weekend in Fort Edward, NY on May 18 & 19, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day.

This incredible event will feature multiple outdoor areas to explore, each highlighting a different era. You'll be able to step back in time as you wander the grounds between Rogers Island and the Old Fort House Museum in Fort Edward, two neat historical landmarks giving insight into Washington County's past.

The Old Fort House Museum is at 29 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828; Rogers Island Visitors Center is at 11 Rogers Island Dr, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Be sure to stop by both locations to discover the full breadth of interesting exhibits, discussions and demonstrations!

This event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted to continue providing top-notch historical events within the Washington County region as part of the 250th Anniversary initiative.
