Fairytale Jubilee 2026 - A Charity Masquerade

About this event

An evening of fantasy and celebration unfolds in the Adirondack Ballroom at The Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Hosted by North East Bassets (NEB), the annual Jubilee brings together a lively mix of entertainment, festive characters, music, and seasonal food.

Featured Entertainment & Performances

• Aya Belly Dance Trio: A local belly dance ensemble brings an enchanting performance to the ballroom stage.

• The Hilltown Hags: This regional dance troupe returns to perform the famous witches' dance inspired by Wolfshäger Hexenbrut.

• Madame Malarkey: Back by popular demand, the notoriously comical "world’s worst fortune teller" offers lighthearted, inaccurate, and entertaining faux-readings throughout the night.

• The Siren Seasters: This enchanting duo will be on hand for photos and conversation, welcoming guests with coastal charm.

Special Guests & Photo Ops

• Santa Nick C: Santa returns to the Jubilee, greeting guests and posing for holiday photos.

• Krampus: For those feeling a bit more mischievous, Krampus will wander the ballroom searching for names on the naughty list—though he is readily distracted by a good photo op.

Costume Contest, Raffles & Dining

• Fairytale Costume Contest: Guests are invited to arrive in costume as their favorite fairytale hero, mythical beast, villain, or magical creature. Santa Nick C will award medals for First and Second Place Individual Costumes, as well as Best Group Costume. (Costumes are warmly encouraged but not required; cocktail attire is welcomed for those not in masquerade).

• Basket Raffle: A cash-only basket raffle offers an array of curated prize packages.

• Dinner Buffet & Cash Bar: Guests can enjoy a full dinner buffet, along with an open cash bar featuring beer, wine, and handcrafted signature cocktails.
