The evening will bring together former staff, volunteers, board members, program participants, community leaders, and supporters for a cocktail hour with entertainment donated by Crick and Tuck, followed by dinner and special presentations. Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, Father Tony Childs, and community storytellers will share reflections on the Center’s impact over five decades.
The gala will also support the Center’s “Help Lift Us Up!” Capital Campaign. Earlier this year, the organization received a $712,000 BRICKS (Building Recreational Infrastructure for Communities, Kids and Seniors) grant to improve accessibility and preserve the facility for future generations. To secure the funding, the Center must raise approximately $200,000 in matching funds. Planned improvements include a new elevator, accessible bathrooms, and a replacement roof.
