CANCELLED: Schroon Lake: 4th of July Festivities

After 65 years Schroon Lake will be taking a "pause" in its iconic Fourth of July Celebration. The Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce announced on Memorial Day that they and Town leadership had made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 festivities. Even as the State and Essex County begin to reopen, with current restrictions limiting the size of public gatherings and Department of Health requirements for social distancing and disinfecting, the day-long celebration in Schroon Lake that draws thousands to town presented far too many risks to public safety.

Why not spend the 4th of July at one of the most beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks? The Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Schroon are proud to present the 66th annual Fourth of July Celebration!  The full day's events include family fun, food, live music, special sales on Main Street, vendors, and of course, the world-class parade, followed by the patriotic concert and fireworks over Schroon Lake.
