About the Garage Sale
For more than 40 years, the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce has hosted the World's Largest Garage Sale, drawing 20,000+ shoppers to this Adirondack town each fall. The Main Street vendors are only half of it. Residents open their lawns, porches, and garages on side streets throughout Warrensburg, so there's plenty to browse beyond the main drag.

What to Expect
Shoppers will find new and used items, antiques, collectibles, toys, and much more. Food vendors are set up throughout the sale, selling chicken wings, BBQ ribs, gourmet chicken pitas, and home-baked goods.
Parking and Shuttle Information
The Warren County Fairgrounds at 346 Schroon River Road is the main free public lot and the best place to park for most visitors. Follow the event signs as you come into Warrensburg.
- Friday: The shuttle does not run. Park at the fairgrounds or in a paid lot closer to Main Street, and plan to walk.
- Saturday and Sunday: Park for free at the fairgrounds and ride the free shuttle into town, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Local organizations, businesses, and property owners also offer paid parking all weekend, with proceeds often supporting community groups, youth programs, and nonprofits. Accessible spaces are set aside throughout the event area; display your permit and follow posted signs. Overnight RV parking is also available.
Street parking is allowed in designated areas only. No standing, double parking, blocking driveways, or parking in restricted zones. Illegally parked vehicles are ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.
World's Largest Garage Sale Tips
- Bring cash and bags. Many sellers are cash only, and you'll carry more than you expect.
- Dress in layers and bring a backpack or waist belt for hands-free shopping.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes. You will walk a lot.
